The Orange County Chapter, like other chapters in the Pacific Southwestern Region, is the grass-roots of the of the Embroiderers' Guild of America which is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit. As such we are mandated to also provide services to the community.

In the past our volunteers have knitted preemie hats for the hospital, donated food items to food pantry's, supported other charities for victims of domestic violence, knitted for the military and provided support for families in transitional housng.
