The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) is a non-profit organization dedicatded to the study and presesrvation of the art of embroidery. Founded in 1958, EGA fosters a community of stitchers who share a passion for needlework, offering a platform for education, innspiration, and the exchange of ideas. Members improve their skills and explore various embroidery techniques. Through local chapter, region and national events, EGA promotes the appreciation of embroidery as both a traditional craft and a conemporary art form, encouraging artistic expression and cultural heritage preservation.



The Pacific Southwestern Region (PSR) of the Embroiderers' Guild of American (EGA) stands as a beacon of creativity, tradition, and community for embroidery enthusiasts in the southwestern United States. As a regional branch of national EGA, PSR serves members across Arizona, Southern California and Nevada, providing a vibrant platform for education, inspiration and the celebration of needlework in all its forms.


Members range from beginners eager to learn basic stitches to advanced practioners and professional artists exploring complex techniques and innovative designs.


PSR hosts region seminars, lectures and hands-on activities. These opportunities provide members with the chance to deepen their knowledge, refine their skills, and immerse themselves in the latest trends and innovations in embroidery.


PSR is more than just a guild. It is a network of connections that fosters a sense of belonging and community through regular meetings, stitch-ins and social events. Members are welcome in both PSR and EGA regardles of race, religion, sex or national origin.
